Since my Casio DG-20 guitar is so bulky and the rubber fretboard warps in the heat I have been desiring for Casio MG-500 guitar.

Perhaps I will never find one - but I think I got VERY lucky and found a Casio EG-5 on ebay. WTF?

Yes, this is a super rare casio guitar, styled on the the MG-500 but with softer edges - I think it looks very cool. Perhaps it’s rare because it doesn’t have the midi functionality that makes the MG’s sought after, my plan for an MG was to play bass on a midi retrofitted SK-1. The special features of the EG-5 were probably laughed at by ‘real’ guitarists, ensuring it to never be released beyond Japan.

And since my Casio Mp3 watch crapped out completely this is THE instrument for me. I am hideously in debt now, but surely that is the price for having my mind so utterly blown?
