How cool is this! It’s a Casio desktop computer. I particularly like the lovely modernist square styling of the system box, with a casio logo on it!. The monitor is reminicent of the commodore monitors - lovely - and again the casio logo.

And orange detailing! This thing could almost be a classic mid-century style icon except its from 1984.

The earlier Casio computers, no where near as lovely, are featured here and according to a dude from Angola they were incerdibly hardy machines - Angola tried to order a million(!) of them from that one techs recommendation but the soviet rubber stamping fell through.

The FP6000 a 8086 and its just crying for a refit of the innards for a bitchen Linux system, to form the core of the CasioNova recording setup. This is my DREAM computer folks - so if you have one not loved I will pay postage to get it to moi. ;)
